Der Sponsorenlauf

Einmal im Jahr brennt in der Alt-Schmargendorf-Grundschule der Schulhof. An diesem Tag wird nicht etwa der Feueralarm möglichst realistisch getestet, sondern die Schülerinnen, Schüler, Lehrer und Erzieher der Schule veranstalten einen Sponsorenlauf.

Dabei geben die Kinder beim Runden laufen ihr Bestes und zwar nicht nur, um ihre Eltern zu beeindrucken, sondern auch, um die Lehrerstaffel mit möglichst hoher Rundenzahl zu überrennen. Bei all dem Schweiß und dem Spaß werden zudem Geldspenden gesammelt, denn für jede gelaufene Runde der Kinder spenden Eltern, Großeltern, Verwandte, Bekannte oder auch Firmen oder Unternehmen eine bestimmte Summe Geld. Diese Einnahmen kommen dann der Schule zu Gute, beispielsweise wurden von den Geldern des letzten Sponsorenlaufs drei interaktive Whiteboards angeschafft. Der Sponsorenlauf wird zudem durch großzügige Sachspenden der umliegenden Geschäfte (Reichelt Edeka, dm) unterstützt.

Alle Akteure freuen sich jedes Jahr aufs Neue Rekorde zu brechen und Lehrer zu überrunden.
