Lernen & Bewegen

Als sportbetonte Schule legen wir Wert auf die Verknüpfung von Lernen und Bewegung. Somit verfügt jeder Jahrgang über eine Sportstunde am Tag.


Für alle Schülerinnen und Schüler steht ein vielfältiges Angebot an Arbeitsgemeinschaften zur Verfügung (z.B. Geräteturnen, Schwimmen, Ballspiele, Streetdance, Handball, Schach, Englisch, Kunst, Leseprofis). Es bestehen Kooperationen mit verschiedenen Sportvereinen. 

Mit den 5. Klassen wird traditionell eine Skifahrt nach Österreich durchgeführt.

Einen weiterern pädagogischen Schwerpunkt bildet die Leseförderung. In der Arbeitsgemeinschaft Leseprofis erweitern die Kinder ihre Kenntnisse in den Methoden des Lesetrainings. Dieses Wissen geben sie in den Jahrgängen 1-4 weiter.

Alljährlich findet im November an der Alt-Schmargendorf-Grundschule unser Vorlesetag statt. Dazu nehmen unsere Sechstklässler im Dezember am bundesweiten Vorlesewettbewerb teil. Unsere Leseinsel bietet als schulinterne Bibliothek allen Kindern die Möglichkeit, in entspannter Atmosphäre zu schmökern und ihr Lieblingsbuch zu auszuleihen.
