"Lernanfänger" an unserer Schule

An der Alt- Schmargendorf- Grundschule lernen die Kinder in jahrgangshomogenen Klassen. Dabei werden das erste und zweite Schuljahr als eine Einheit angesehen, in der die Lernenden ausreichenden Raum erhalten, um sich ihren Fähig- und Fertigkeiten entsprechend zu entwickeln. Dabei werden sie von pädagogisch ausgebildeten Lehrerteams, bestehend aus Klassenlehrer und Erzieher, begleitet und unterstützt. In den ersten Schuljahren wird der Grundstein zum weiteren Lernen gelegt. Um den Kindern den Einstieg in die Lebenswelt Schule zu erleichtern, legen wir großen Wert auf spielerische Herangehensweisen und Lernmaterialien, die ansprechend gestaltet sind sowie die Lernenden in ihrer Selbstständigkeit fördern. Für Schülerinnen und Schüler, die besondere Unterstützung brauchen, stehen Stunden für sonderpädagogische Förderung zur Verfügung. Es geht nicht nur um die Vermittlung von Wissen, sondern auch um die Stärkung der Persönlichkeit und des sozialen Miteinanders. Jedes Kind kommt mit verschiedenen Voraussetzungen in die Schule, was zu einer bunten Vielfalt im Klassenraum beiträgt, in der die Kinder sich gegenseitig unterstützen und voneinander lernen können.
