Wo Geschichten uns verbinden

Unter diesem Motto stand unser Besuch der Leipziger Buchmesse. Die Verbindung war an vielen Stellen spürbar: Begeisterung für Bücher, gemeinsame Zeit bei einem Ausflug, Wiedersehen mit einer Schriftstellerin. Insgesamt 40 Buchbegeisterte aus den Klassen 4 und 6 – darunter unsere Leseprofis – machten sich mit dem Reisebus auf den Weg nach Leipzig.

Gleich zu Beginn erwartete uns das Wiedersehen mit der Autorin Markéta Pilatová, die bereits im Januar ihr Buch Die Maronenmatrone an der Alt-Schmargendorf-Grundschule vorgestellt hatte. Auf der Messe gewährte sie uns einen exklusiven Einblick in ihr neues Werk über den Holocaustüberlebenden Arnošt Lustig. Wir gehörten zu den Ersten, die Teile der deutschen Übersetzung kennenlernen durften.

Mit großer Neugierde erkundeten die Kinder im Anschluss die Messehallen, insbesondere die Hallen 1 und 3 mit ihren vielfältigen Kinderbuch- und Manga-Verlagen. Ob Fantasy-Romane, Tiergeschichten, Comics oder Mangas – überall wurde gemeinsam entdeckt und gestöbert. Glücklich tauschten sich unsere Schülerinnen und Schüler auf der Rückfahrt über die neuen Bücher aus, so dass auch diese Geschichten uns weiter verbinden.
