Laternen und andere Lichtblicke

Wenn im November die Tage deutlich kälter, kürzer und dunkler werden, viele von uns sich am liebsten drinnen statt draußen aufhalten, freuen wir uns über  Lichtblicke wie schön gestaltete Laternen, duftende Snacks und  warme Getränke, Bastelarbeiten, kreative Mitmachstationen und Weihnachtsturnen.

So erleuchtete am 21. November 2024 unsere Alt-Schmargendorf-Grundschule anlässlich des Martinsfest und Weihnachtsbasars. In der Aula wurde Sankt Martins interessanter Lebensweg vor liebevoll gestalteter Kulisse aufgeführt, auf dem Schulhof dufteten Punsch und Bratwurst an den Ständen, die gemeinsam von Schülern, Eltern, Lehrern und Catering-Mitarbeitern betreut wurden. Im unteren Eingangsbereich konnten Bastelarbeiten und Strickwaren erworben werden. Im Kunstraum gab es Kartoffeldruck zu entdecken und davor konnte man Weihnachtskarten und Wintervogelfutter erwerben. Bei Kaffee und Kuchen kam die Schulgemeinschaft ins Gespräch, bevor es in der großen Halle sportlich wurde. Unter weihnachtlichen Klängen turnten sich unsere Besucher von Station zu Station. Doch kein Martinsfest ohne Laternenumzug. Dieser führte nach einer musikalischen Einlage durch die umliegenden Straßen um unsere Schule herum und brachte unsere Nachbarschaft zum Leuchten.

Ein großes Dankeschön geht an alle helfenden Hände, die zum Gelingen des fröhlichen Fests beigetragen haben.
