Es reicht nicht müde zu sein, man muss auch schlafen können

Unter diesem Motto stand die Hinfahrt nach St. Jakob für die 6. Klassen. Zwei Busse beförderten die Kinder und Pädagog*innen in 10,5 Stunden nach Österreich zum Hotel Posthof. Mit bis zu 3 Stunden Schlaf in den Knochen, ging es dann gleich zum Frühstück. Im Anschluss daran lief die Gruppe in einer wunderschönen Winterlandschaft zur Skiausleihe. Erstaunlich schnell und unkompliziert war diese Prozedur in einer Stunde erledigt und nach der Rückkehr ins Hotel gab es Mittagessen. Danach wurden die Zimmer bezogen. Aber viel Zeit zum Ausruhen (oder zum Schlafen!) blieb nicht, denn am Nachmittag machten sich die 53 Kinder und 6 Erwachsenen noch einmal auf in den Schnee. Die Verlockung, sich in die Schneemengen zu werfen, Schneemänner zu bauen oder Rutschpartien zu veranstalten war einfach zu groß. Das Abendprogramm fällt am heutigen Anreisetag eher bescheiden aus: lesend fallen den Kindern hoffentlich schnell die Augen zu, denn um 7 Uhr morgen geht es das erste Mal auf die Piste. Ski heil!
